In 2018 I returned to commissioned design work and founded Happy Things Deisgn™ a place to make and share my love of all things creative. From baked goods, needle-point, and DIY projects (currently restoring a 1952 Air Stream Camper) the creative process is awesome! In fact, I’d love to share it with you–I am the author of the digital book, Lettering & Typography, A Beginner’s Guide to Drawing Letters in a Compelling Way. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I spent much of my time tutoring my children, illustrating envelopes for my Happy Mail Project, and began work on a series of paintings entitled, Fertility Flowers™. Then in 2021, I took a part-time teaching position as an elementary school STEM enrichment teacher (K-6). In our classes, I try to help my students cultivate curiosity and wonder by learning the basics of Computer Science and technology and introducing them to The Discovery Process™ to Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create, Improve, and Share. Current M.Ed. candidate.
